Yesterday, Burger King's official Twitter account, @burgerking, was hacked. The hackers put up a McDonald's logo and started promoting McDonalds. Which sounds like a nightmare . . . only it got them tens of thousands of new followers AND got people talking about Burger King again. That doesn't happen very often. Several of the Tweets used obscenities or racial epithets, according to news reports from CBS and ABC. The account, which has been suspended, also tweeted, “if I catch you at a wendys, we’re fightin!” (Gawker)
