....Hugh Hefner. The 86-year-old founder of Playboy just married 26-year-old Crystal Harris on New Year's Eve at the Playboy Mansion in LA. Yes, your math skills are working properly as we start 2013: that is a 60 year difference in age. It's Hef's third marriage. In fact, his new love was 2 when he got married the last time. Ain't love grand?
....Russ Brandon. The '89 graduate of St. John Fisher was named the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 1. I've known Russ since his days as an intern with the Rochester Red Wings and he has worked for the Bills for almost 20 years. He's a tough kid from Syracuse and very deserving of the promotion. I wish him luck with the massive turnaround that patient Bills fans have been waiting for since the glorious Super Bowl days of the 90's.
....Melissa Jones. Have a great stay in jail after scamming hundreds of well meaning folks in Canandaigua who contributed when she claimed she "had cancer". She did not, and can now sit in jail and think about the poor folks who suffer with the dreaded disease that won't get a second chance like she will. I hope it is a dreadful time for her and she suffers on a daily basis for this heinous crime, one that she denied until she escaped with a plea deal for less jail time. I wish peace to those who are truly afflicted, and also wish luck to those who hope to get their money back from her someday.
....Kim Khardashian and Kanye West. Can't beleive I just wrote that. Now that the world is on edge with the news that the couple is pregnant, my question: did we all REALLY need ANOTHER Khardashian and West?
