Graduation parties, music, and partying like an animal this weekend:

>> The Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival is underway in the East End. It's some of the best people watching of the summer for the next 8 days downtown.

>> People are rallying to the defense of Greece (the town, not the economicly challenged country)!  Some citizens of Greece feel their town has received a black eye across America after the way the punks treated their bus monitor this week, so they're holding a rally Fri. at 7p at Apollo Middle School.  Just down the road from there, fun will take centerstage at the Barnard Carnival on Maiden Lane all weekend.

>> Use your animal instincts and rock along the river at ZooBrew at the Seneca Park Zoo Fri. from 5:30p-9.

>> It's a beautiful weekend to be at Frontier Field for Red Wings baseball, Fri. and Sat. at 7:05 with fireworks post-game, and Sun. at 5:05p.

>> The summer of Riesling kicks off at Casa Larga in Perinton Sat. and Sun. from 12p-5p.

>> And a traffic tip for anyone in Webster or Wayne Co. who uses the Bay Bridge to head into town for any of the above fun. The Bay Bridge closes Fri. at 8p for westbound travel all weekend. You'll need to get off at Bay Rd. and head to Empire Blvd. to make the western trek.  Good luck with that hassle and have a great weekend.
