As Alanis Morissette once said: isn't it ironic....
....that students who are taught art at the School of the Arts in the city did art work on their own building Tues.? 28 arrested for graffiti and other vandalism at the beautiful building on Prince St. Those city school kids are really getting a great education.
....the Director of the Monroe Co. Crime Lab was fired Tues for NOT doing work on crime cases? She and her ace assistant were allegedly tossing cases and evidence aside because of a backlog of crime in the area. It's not a crime per se, but still ironic.
....that the New York Thruway Authority, who was supposed to abolish itself and get rid of tolls decades ago, is now looking at raising tolls on the Thruway AGAIN? How often does a governmental agency EVER abolish their own jobs? I think the answer is never.
....that Dallas is back on TV again starting tonight on TNT at 9? The once top-rated TV soap opera has been off the air for decades and didn't J.R. get shot then? But now he's back? Have the TV writers run out of story ideas, just like the movie script writers who keep resurrecting old ideas for today's movies?
....that now I've run out of things to write about that are ironic?
