You know how everybody has that one cause that hits really close to home for them? This is it for me. I lost my cousin Kim in the Spring of 2008, when she was just 30 years old. The culprit? Breast Cancer. If you want to help fight this terrible disease, or learn more about how to spread awareness - check out Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The Rochester School District will make condoms available to some high school students next week.
Under this policy, school nurses will make condoms available at no cost to students in ninth grade or higher who meet several criteria. That includes having the student completing a health course that has education about AIDS, and getting personal health guidance from the school nurse.
Parents can opt out of allowing their children to get the condoms by signing a letter.
School officials say the new policy is designed to reduce teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.
