Adele has denied being involved in an argument with fellow singer Chris Brown at the Grammy Awards this past weekend.

Rumours that Adele shouted at Brown following his refusal to applaud winner Frank Ocean, with whom he was recently involved in altercation, circulated when the picture above was published. However, posting a message on Twitter herself, Adele denied the stories and said that they were both complimenting one another at the time the picture was taken.

Getty photographer Christopher Polk is believed to have taken the picture at 6:47pm, before Brown allegedly refused to applaud Ocean. Adele and Brown posed happily for a picture together shortly after the first image was taken. The row between Brown and Ocean follows a brawl at a recording studio in Los Angeles earlier this month involving both artists and their entourages.

Nobody would have blamed you if you WERE yelling at him, Adele.
